Origins: The bit about Me!

Born and raised in Broadstairs, I have lived in East Kent, on and off, for most of my life, so I know “The Garden of England” inside out and I am an enthusiastic advocate for its fabulous diversity, wealth of history, wonderful unspoilt countryside and delightful beaches and coastline.

Having spent time living and working in Europe, and elsewhere in England, I settled back in Kent with my husband and two sons. I feel truly European having spent a considerable amount of time in France, Austria and Italy and just love the fact that we can still be in France within 1 hour of leaving home.

When not at work I am an outdoors kind of girl and will invariably be found walking the dog, riding a horse in the chestnut woods, or foraging the hedgerows for seasonal deliciousness on the Kent Downs. Otherwise just head for the garden and you will find me hard at work in my haven and escape!
